Dr Stuart

Heippa, onpas tammikuu vaan vierähtänyt nopeasti. Joululomat ja uudet vuodet hurahti Suomessa, sitten palattiin Englantiin ja nyt ollaan itse asiassa Pariisissa. Saavuttiin tänään, mahtavalla eurostarilla, parissa tunnissa Lontoo citystä Pariisiin. Asunto löytyi, siis loma-asunto ja nyt on kiva viikko edessä!

Seuraavasta onkin jo pitänyt postata jonkin aika sitten.. nimittäin aivan mahtavat Dr Stuart's tee pakkaukset. Tosi upeat kuvitukset on tehnyt Brett Ryder. I like! Milloinkohan Suomessa alkaa näkyä pakkauksissa lisää kuvituksia? Pitääkö jokaisessa teepakkauksessa ja jugurttipurkissa olla samanlainen valokuva/valokuvan tarkka kuva marjasta tai hedelmästä? Kaikki kuitenkin tietää, että jos paketissa lukee mansikka tai vadelma, niin silloin siinä on mansikan ja vadelman näköistä marjaa. No juu. Mutta tätä olen miettinyt.

translation: Hey, January has really flown by. We had the Christmas break and new years in Finland, then returned to England and now we're actually in Paris. We arrived today, on the fabulous eurostar, within a couple of hours from London city to Paris. We found the holiday apartment and now we shall have a nice week ahead!

Following is something I've been meaning to write about for a while now.. that's the great packaging of Dr Stuart's tea. These fantastic illustrations were done by Brett Ryder. I like! I wonder when we'll start to see more illustrations in packaging in Finland? Does each tea packet or a yoghurt pot have to have a photo/photo like image of a berry or a fruit? Undoubtably everyone knows that if it says "strawberry" or "raspberry" on the packet the product will taste somewhat like those berries. Oh well. But this is what I've been thinking.

Pitkästä aikaa taas blogin äärellä.. Joulun ajan syöpöttely, sukulointi ja leffamaratonit alkavat olla lopullaan ja paluu arkeen kutsuu. Kuvassa on juuri julkaistussa Mennään Naimisiin -lehdessä oleva kuvitukseni. Myös uudessa Eeva-lehdessä on mittava kuvitustyö vuosihoroskoopin muodossa. Seurassa oli myös vuosihoroskoopit, mutta se taisi jo poistua markkinoilta loman aikana. Mutta anyways, pitäkää silmällä lehtihyllyä!


translation: Long time no see with the blog.. All the dining, hanging out with the relatives and film marathons are finally starting to finish and the everyday life is calling. In the picture there's a recent illustration I did for Mennään Naimisiin -lehteen. Also in the new Eeva-magazine there's a substantial illustration in the form of new years horoscopes. In Seura magazines there was also yearly horoscopes, but I believe that one isn't on the market anymore. (btw. all these magazines are finnish). But anyways, keep your eyes peeled!
