Suosikkikahvila! Se on vihdoin löytynyt Lontoosta! Sohossa, kiven heiton päässä Piccadilly Circuselta on ihana pohjoiseen makuun sopiva kahvila Nordic Bakery. Kahvilasta löytyvät höyryävän kuumat kanelipullat, Iittalan Teema-mukeista tarjoiltu kahvi (ja kaakao) sekä perinteistä ruisleipää. Tilapäisen koti-ikävän lievittäminen ei ole koskaan ollut näin vaivatonta.
Pelkistetty sisustus muistuttaa erehdyttävästi mitä tahansa kahvilaa Helsingin sydämessä ja vain näkymä Sohon Golden Squarelle paljastaa ettei sijainti olekaan Espa tai Aleksi.
Kahvittelua varten pukeuduin söpöön uuteen Zara-mekkoon jonka kankaassa on ihania pikkuriikkisiä kukkia. Voi olla, etteivät kaikki yksityiskohdat näy kovin tarkasti, mutta mekko oli mielestäni aika löytö. Eikä edes täysin musta! Yritän tästä lähtien käyttää edes yhtä muuta väriä kun mustaa. Saa nähdä miten onnistun.
translate: Favorite coffee shop! I've finally found it in London! In Soho, stone's throw away from Piccadilly Circus is a lovely cafe for northern taste called Nordic Bakery. Hot cinnamon buns, coffee (and hot chocolate) served from Ittala's Teema-mugs and dark rye bread can all be found there. Easing the temporary home-sickness has never been so easy. The minimalistic decoration reminds me of any cafe in the heart of Helsinki and only the view to Soho's Golden Square reveals that the location isn't Esplanadi or Aleksi.
For the coffee I wore a cute new dress from Zara, the fabric is covered with teeny-tiny flowers. It may be that all the details are not visible from the pictures, but the dress is quite a find. And it's not even completely black! From now on I try to wear at least one more colour in my outfits other than black. We'll see how I succeed.
