Olen pikkuhiljaa alkanut lämmetä ajatukselle platformien paluusta. Muistan kyllä hyvin vielä edellisen kierroksen: 90-luvun reivimuodin ja korkean tasapohjaisen platformin mutta nämä uudet platformit näyttävät silmään jälleen tuoreilta. En tiedä miten kävely kyseisillä jalkineilla luonnistuu, pitänee mennä New Lookiin sovittelemaan. Ehkä suurimman inspiraation platformien käyttöön olen saanut Elin Klingiltä, Ruotsin suosituimmalta muotibloggaajalta. Hänen tyylinsä on muutoin aika sama kuin Kate Mossin; mustaa, harmaata, kulunutta denimiä, eläinkuoseja ja taivaita hipovat korot. Mutta juuri nuo korot ovat tarttuneet silmään ja nyt pitäisi vain päättää mitkä valitsee. Ainakin nuo alimmat, Chanel-tyyppiset nilkkurit lienee pakko saada (vaikkei niissä sitä kaipaamaani platformia olisikaan).

I still remember the last round very well: the rave-fashion of the 90s and the high wedge platform but these new platforms look fresh again. I don't know how easy it's to walk with them, I better go to New Look and find out. Maybe the biggest inspiration for wearing platforms has come from Elin Kling, Swedens most polpular fashion blogger. Her style is otherwise pretty much the same as that of Kate Moss; black, grey, worn-out denim, animal prints and sky high heels. But it's the heels that have caught my eye and now I should just decide which ones to choose. At least the last ones, Chanel-type ankle boots I must have (even if they wouldn't have the platform I've been craving for).
